CBN Inserts Machining Wear-Resistant Components of Mining Crushing Equipment — Grinding Rolls

The grinding roller is a core component of the roller crusher. It requires machining of the outer diameter, end face, and stepped surface, with a roundness error ≤0.01mm and a surface roughness Ra ≤0.8μm.

1. Inserts Selection: Use Solid CBN inserts (SBN850 recommended), compatible with models such as SNMN150716 and CNMN120412. The cutting edge adopts a negative rake angle design (-5°~-10°) to improve impact resistance.

2. Cutting Parameters: Rough turning (removing casting allowance): Cutting speed v=80-120m/min, depth of cut ap=5-10mm, feed rate f=0.3-0.6mm/r; Finish turning (dimensional accuracy correction): v=150-200m/min, ap=0.5-2mm, f=0.1-0.2mm/r.

3. Machining effect: The single-edge durability reaches 2-4 hours, which is 5-8 times better than carbide tools. The machining efficiency is 2-3 times higher, and assembly requirements can be met without subsequent grinding.
